Digital operation allows more than 300 families to apply for IFE

The successful deployment in the territories has allowed families of Valdivia and Mariquina to receive digital assistance for their application to the IFE government benefit. ARAUCO’s initiative, led by its AcercaRedes Foundation, has focused its efforts on urban-rural areas near Oncol Park, the Mariquina coastal area, and communities near Valdivia mill, considering the existing difficulties for internet access in these zones and the lack of digital skills of the beneficiaries.

A strong door-to-door and telephone campaign, in addition to coordination with neighborhood associations and university volunteers, has allowed neighbors to learn about their situation with regard to this financial aid, and if necessary, to apply or appeal on the website made available by the State.
